
Global Bilgi defines its salary management policy as “management of a salary system, competitive in the market, fair and motivating within the company”. To this end, Global Bilgi conducts researches on salary systems by applying the following techniques:
Industry specific and larger scale salary and fringe benefit surveys are collected and analyzed. For objective assessment and job match, Global Bilgi participates in comprehensive domestic salary surveys to get an insight into salaries commanded in the market. Based on the data obtained by market follow-up, salaries are reviewed and adjusted once a year in January.
Although the data obtained from the market surveys are taken as the reference point, Global Bilgi uses “Position and Employee Ranking System” to manage salary system equally, fairly and systematically. In addition to salary management, “Position and Employee Ranking System” is used for Career Management of employees.
The “Position Ranking”, as part of the system, helps to define the positions and responsibilities within the organization.
The system allows employees with high performance to get incentives in addition to their salary. Monthly incentives awarded to customer representatives depending on their performance constitute an important part of their salary.
Fringe benefits are structured in line with the data obtained from Position and Employee Ranking System. Fringe benefits are revised every year, considering the sector and amended at certain times.
