Recruitment Process

Hiring the best qualified staff for all positions plays a critical role in the success of Global Bilgi. HR experts use various channels like CV database, employment web sites, individual applications, and HR consulting companies to recruit staff.

Recruitment process starts with profile analysis and screening of CVs, followed by assessment of qualifications. The process completes with the recruitment of staff with appropriate qualifications to fill the vacant positions.

After assessments and screening, initial individual interview is prepared by HR experts of Global Bilgi and heads of the relevant departments in line with functional, position specific and corporate competencies. Based on the results obtained in the first interview, the applicants are invited to second interview. Applicants may be taken through a simulation or brief exercise in order to evaluate their skills in action. If need be, the applicant is invited to a third interview. In this phase, references of the applicants who prove to be qualified are cross checked. This process ends up with a job offer to successful applicants. On the other hand, the applicants who do not fulfill requirements of the vacancy are informed and their CVs are kept in the database in case a vacancy suitable for their qualifications arises.

Internship

Within the framework of internship program, Global Bilgi not only contributes to itself and the sector, but also obtains the opportunity of assessing its prospective employees.

Annual summer internship program offers opportunity to the undergraduate students from June to August. Vocational school students, on the other hand, may be accepted to the relevant departments in case of need during academic year.

Various departments report their needs for interns to HR Department in April and May. Based on the needs, applications received either personally or via web site, fax, e-mail are assessed. Following the interview, accepted applicants may participate in the program for 4 to 6 weeks.
